World Tolkien Day, Imagination and My Personal Rewilding

I love so much about the amazing writer JRR Tolkien and how the horrifying experiences of the war created such an extraordinary storyteller, and how his rage against the Nazi Machine honed his passion for nature, trees and rewilding.Tolkien’s extraordinary love of nature and the earth is manifest throughout his books as trees are portayed with power and great spirit to lead the fight against evil with extraordinary sensitivity and significance. All his vivid almost wild, imagination from the fiercest of war time perils has always been an inspiration to me in my darker times and takes me back to my Cotswolds roots and nature as I embark upon my own personal project... Rewilding Harriet Green 🌳After years in corporate life I am reconnecting daily with nature and protecting natural processes and wilderness areas in my mind and physically around me. Trying to connect all these areas together in a natural harmony with my new self! How has Tolkien’s writing lifted or touched you? Who stokes your imagination? Are you rewilding for real and in your mind?
