My Compass & My Clock

From a very early age my love of telling the time from my Grandmothers Grandfather's Clock, wearing a watch from age 4 (!) and never wasting a second was huge for me!Partly poor sleep, maybe some compensation for those around me who were always late, my focus on being early for things was almost obsessional. Then as I began to work, taking on more and more career-wise, my relationship with deadlines, timelines, quarter ends, full years etc became defining and not altogether healthy. Two of the great joys of my new life are firstly turning off every app-notification on all devices, so I choose when to respond to folks, plus I no longer wear a watch to tell the time. Each day I organise myself around my core internal compass, the three legs of life stool and am enjoying every step of my new journey around purpose & impact, enhanced physical and mental wellbeing and letting my innate creativity flow!Try it on a non-work day or your vacation time. Turn off all notifications on your devices and removes clocks and watches from your line of sight! What other great ways can you share of letting your internal compass lead you?
