New age art experiences in lockdown

In week three of lockdown I was bemoaning and listing my biggest losses, and what I missed the most about my real life. Up there, front and centre was my wanderings through and love of art galleries! This is part one of two posts on my move from galleries to new age art experiences in lockdown! All over the world with a minute or two to spare I would pick a gallery and be lost in the hung art and positioned sculpture. From the Singapore Art Museum to the Volte Gallery in Mumbai - walls brought to life through historical flair, artistic mastery and sheer awe!Now in lockdowns, I have been blessed with the discovery and sharing of new artists and imagery online. A few I’d love to share! With the skill of a sashimi knife the amazingly talented Yujia Hu creates 'shoe-shi' and other remarkably crafted portraits. The ‘onigiri artist’ blends his brilliant eye for detail and colour to make satisfying, too good to eat pieces! https://lnkd.in/eawcViH
