While preparing for mutual mentoring conversations, my recent talks to teenagers participating in Teens in AI hackathons, plus students starting their new term King's Business School I must reflect on the current feelings of our next generation that are feeling lost and lonely in this new Covid world.The Deloitte Global Millennial Survey (https://lnkd.in/g-hr-Su) positively shares how millennial and Gen Zs hold the key to creating a ‘better normal’ and building back better!So, we must do everything we can to support them!Firstly, for us all to learn about the skills the world needs now. This includes both life skills, and tech skills. It’s not just millennials who need to relearn; we all do!Second, through supporting inter-generational diversity and inclusion, via mutual mentoring, and ensuring real age diversity within teams.This wonderful article by Harvard Business Review explains why, and how, creating a shadow board of younger employees can reap huge rewards for all individuals, and incredible innovative new ideas.https://lnkd.in/gCZwCuw
