Pride Month 2023 – Gather, Dream, Amplify

I am proud to have championed diversity and inclusion throughout my career and this year have several exciting activities planned in June to celebrate Pride Month! I love the 2023 overarching theme of GATHER, DREAM, AMPLIFY which was developed in partnership with the extraordinary First Nations and LGBTQI+ communities and have included it in my banner as a reminder of the purpose.I first pledged to support the unique talents and voices of every individual around me in 1996. Since this time, the world has progressed but there are sadly still some places where being yourself is a crime. Every person is different and we should not be expected to hide or relinquish the nirvana of our individuality.Today, I would like to re-state my pledge as a proud Pride ally, in a different way… by a short video!“I commit to do all within my power to actively and publicly support and mentor as a passionate ally the LGBTQ+ global community such that our unique differences are cherished.
