Ikigai, the Japanese secret to a long and happy life, is an inspiring book that both my husband and I both read and enjoyed as we are learning to love living life!
Based entirely on the Japanese concept of a reason for being – it’s beautifully illustrated and amazing to read, and re-read.
It’s really about the simplicity of purpose, doing what you’re good at and what the world needs. Simple food, eating lightly and well, exercising and keeping moving, and living in the moment whilst giving back to the community, volunteering, and spending quality time with real friends.
This book will help you work out what your own Ikigai really is, and equip you to change your life, whenever you have a need to! I recommend it highly to you all as you learn to love living life too.
