As we continue to think about our focus areas for the upcoming year and how we manage re-entry into very different times a hopeful poem shared on Instagram from Leslie Dwight caught my eye…
What if 2020 isn’t cancelled?
What if 2020 is the year we’ve been waiting for?
A year so uncomfortable, so painful, so scary, so raw… that it finally forces us to grow.
A year that screams so loud, finally awakening us from our ignorant slumber.
A year we finally accept the need for change.
Declare change. Work for change. Become the change.
A year we finally band together, instead of pushing each other further apart.
2020 isn’t cancelled, but rather the most important year of them all.
The feedback to that post has been incredible.
So as we gather our learnings from 2020, organise our painful and delightful memories, how can we make 2021 work for us as we capture our dreams, priorities, and plans to build back better, for ourselves and others?
How are you managing to juggle your dreams and make plans for this year? I’d love your inputs.
